An Alert is a notification raised by an activated trigger in the course of a consumer's interaction with your Virtual Human. It can be used for a number of different purposes, but in its simplest form it is intended to notify the Program creator that some action is required regarding one of their consumers.

An example is in our online Demo, where the consumer is asked if they wish for a representative to make contact with them. If the option ‘yes’ is selected, an Alert will be raised which is viewable to us in the Conversagent Portal, with the details of this Alert.

The user does not see any of the detail of an alert, nor are they informed that an alert was triggered. Alerts are only visible in the Conversagent portal.
