Freeform Text

In this case the user is providing their own response. You can provide placeholder text for a freeform field in order to give the user a prompt of what they should enter. Type this text into the Placeholder field in the Response Choices. You can also limit the number of characters that will be accepted by the field. Either type a number into the Maximum length field or hover over the field and click the up/down arrows to change the number.

Number Slider/Textbox

By default this field will be a blank field that accepts numerical input.  To change to a number slider put numbers into all three of the Set Range Slider fields: Min, Max, and Steps.  To change from a number slider back to a number field, remove the figures from these three fields and save.
